The Padiham Writes Project

Facilitated by local writer, Amy Tempest, the Padiham Writes Project will include a series of creative writing workshops to be held this September to create short stories and poetry inspired by Padiham’s heritage.

Participants will visit Padiham Archive, the Library and Gawthorpe Hall to learn about Padiham’s past people, places and events to inspire a series of short fictional stories based on local history. The completed stories will be published and celebrated through an evening of readings as part of the boroughs Literary Festival.
