Padiham Town Council Christmas Lights Switch on a huge success!

The 2021 Christmas Lights Switch on event hosted by Padiham Town Council was a triumph. Thousands braved the cold weather to attend the fun packed event where Disney and Christmas characters flooded the town with magic.

Festive Christmas markets were full of unique gifts and shoppers supported local businesses by shopping local.  A giant snow globe filled the stage inside Padiham Town Hall much to the enjoyment of children and families!

A fantastic stage show including Padiham Community Choir, Unique dance and fitness, Burnley Pantomime Society, Ella Avelorn, Jared Warne, Britain’s Got Talent star Jasper Cherry and Gavin Young entertained locals and brought the Christmas Spirit with them. Father Christmas switched the lights on and the show came to a close with a magical fireworks display.
